Real Alternatives is a national nonprofit charity dedicated to providing life-affirming assistance to women experiencing an unexpected pregnancies. In the last 29 years, over women have been provided support in Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Indiana. https://video.foxnews.com/v/63••••••••12/Since 2014, Real Alternatives has received $ 24.75 million in grants from the Indiana Department of Health to administer the Indiana Pregnancy and Parenting Support Services Program. Over women received services. Real Alternatives administered the $7.26 million a year pregnancy and parenting support program funded through the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services since 1996. This was the first program of this type in the country to be funded with government funding. Twenty-eight years later, it funded 80 pregnancy support centers, Catholic Charities, social service agencies, maternity homes and adoption agencies throughout the State and assisted over 354,500 women in that time. Pro-abortion Gov. Shapiro cancelled the program.In 2006, Real Alternatives assisted Texas Pregnancy Care Network, in replicating the Pennsylvania program for the Texas Health and Human Services Commission. The program is funded at $50 million per year and has served over women to date.In 2013, Real Alternatives received $3.3 million in grants from the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, to administer the Michigan Pregnancy and Parenting Support Services Program. Over 8,715 women received services. Pro-abortion Gov. Whitmer cancelled the program.Real Alternatives was one of the first four nonprofits accredited by the Pennsylvania Association of Nonprofit Organizations (PANO) Seal of Excellence Award in 2004 for its management, ethics and accountability.
