I am pleased to formally announce that I have agreed to step back up into the role of President of the NTMA\'s (National Tooling & Machining Association) Pittsburgh Chapter. Since I stepped down at the end of 2105 the chapter has continued to thrive under the presidencies of, Chuck DeVentura, John Maholtz end Jim Hoffman. I’m humbled that I was asked assume my old role and am looking forward to continuing to grow our chapter and nurture its members. We have over 60 member shops and dozens of associate members. The Pittsburgh Chapter has been recognized by NTMA National for the 11th consecutive year as being one of their \"Star Chapters\". We have a great board that is both hard working and dedicated to being the best Chapter in the country, which I believe we are. We provide our members with cost effective insurance programs, training, a proven apprenticeship program, a terrific workforce development initiative and a highly respected lobbying firm in DC. We continue to be a member of the University of Pittsburgh\'s Graduate School of Business\' IEE (Institute for Entrepreneurial Excellence). The IEE has been a great educational partner. We’re also a member of One Voice which us a leading voice for manufacturers, farmers and other industries.
