ABOUT KEVIN HARRIGAN
Kevin Harrigan is a Tribe Lead at Abrdn, based in Edinburgh Scotland. The projects Kevin manages can be very intensive and must stand up to the highest principles of security. Testing and ensuring quality is at the heart of Kevin’s work. From a quality assurance perspective, Kevin makes sure that testing principles are embedded in a system for its lifetime, not just in the testing period. He can sit in the business or technology side of operations.Thanks to his years of consulting experience in delivering to clients’ implementation and testing requirements, Kevin knows how to bring large teams together to meet delivery needs. Kevin is driven by delivery and getting systems to market. He particularly enjoys getting involved in the detail and aligning that with the his functions objectives. Seeing systems go live following months of work is a particular thrill. Before joining Abrdn in April Kevin worked within consulting arena, Accenture since 2007 and previously with RICS and NI-CO before that. He studied Information Management and German, and is a keen linguist, speaking Irish and Italian. Travel is close to his heart, but the demands of a young family keep him rooted, although he does get the time to see the occasional football or rugby match
