Project manager and biomedical engineer specializing in spaceflight, with over 13 years\' experience at NASA and in International Space Station (ISS) operations. Former flight controller in Houston mission control, now a project manager supporting bioscience and space science research projects at NASA Ames. I am passionate about advancing scientific knowledge regarding the effects of spaceflight on living systems and the search for habitable exoplanets.

1. Project Manager Technical Monitor

   Aug 2024 — Present

   Project Manager for the Ames Exoplanet Technologies group, supporting several interconnected projects related to development and testing of coronagraphs for space telescope missions, including the Habitable Worlds Observatory.• Continuing role as Payload Manager for the BioNutrients payload series (see below), with additional responsibilities in budget review and management, stakeholder reporting, and procurement, enabled by new civil servant role.• Serve as a Technical Officer in cooperative agreements between NASA and partner institutions, managing budget, incremental funding, amendments to scope of work, and onboarding of new contractor employees to NASA.• Develop research proposals for solicitations, coordinating with PIs on staffing plans, budgets, and schedules.• Spearhead procurement on assigned projects, leading development of procurement packages.
