   TruGreen separated from ServiceMaster, January 2014 with PE firm Clayton, Dubilier & Rice maintaining ownership. Operating across the U.S. and Canada with over employees and 275 locations, TruGreen is the nation\'s largest lawn care company, serving more than 2.3 million residential and commercial customers. As a direct report to the CEO, I\'m an active participant in TruGreen\'s Executive Leadership Team in addition to managing all Corporate Governance and Board of Director\'s matters I: Played a key role on the executive team that divested TruGreen from ServiceMaster under Private Equity Ownership. Was integral in turning around negative EBITDA to in excess of $240M. Established best-in-class (benchmarked in 1st quartile of spend, risk and staffing) legal, risk, claims, ethics, compliance and regulatory affairs functions. Orchestrated leadership and organizational restructuring, including CEO and CFO transitions. Prepared groundwork for a potential IPO or other liquidity transaction. Steered TruGreen merger with Scotts Miracle-Gro Company, including negotiating merger, joint venture and other key agreements; acquiring 85+ independent franchise businesses (adding $15M EBITDA); managing reduction in force; refinancing merger debt enabling shareholder dividend transactions. Lead the enterprise EHS, ESG and Government & Legislative Affairs teams
