ABOUT KEVIN ELLIOTT

With over 11 years at IBM and a career spanning more than three decades, I specialize in enterprise asset management (EAM) and business transformation. My role focuses on application landscape reviews, solution architecture, and supporting Maximo Application Suite (MAS) implementations to align technology solutions with strategic goals. Backed by IBM Consulting Profession Certification and Maximo Application Suite Foundation, I collaborate with clients to deliver scalable and efficient asset management solutions. I am committed to empowering organizations through tailored systems that drive sustainable growth.I am an accomplished, results-driven Maximo Solution Architect and EAM Executive Consultant with over 35 years of global experience (UK, USA, Australia, South Africa, Kuwait) delivering complex enterprise-level programs across the Utility, Oil & Gas, Rail, and Engineering sectors.I am an expert in end-to-end Maximo lifecycle, from strategic solution architecture and bid leadership to complex implementation, integration, and multi-version upgrades (Maximo 4i to MAS/Maximo 9). I have proven ability to lead large, multi-stream transformation programs, manage international delivery teams, and ensure technical solutions align with critical business compliance and operational excellence.In 1987, I started my career at Eskom South Africa. I spent several years in design, systems engineering, construction and project management, holding several positions, including Technical Interface Manager and Engineering Design & Services Manager at 6x640MW Power station. I moved to systems implementation specialising in Enterprise Asset Management consulting & managing projects in several organizations in South Africa, Australia and USA.In 2002 I moved to Kuwait spending 9.5 years in Maximo EAM implementation programmes for major oil related industrials, including KNPC and KOC.In 2011 I left Kuwait as Maximo GM at ACC (the IBM Business Partner) returning to Eskom South Africa as executive consultant, overseeing a PLM and engineering systems upgrade programme for a national utility company, included SAP modules, Intergraph Smartplant engineering design suite, SmallWorld network design system, Sharepoint ECM and several specialised engineering design and analysis tools.In 2014, joining IBM UK, I have spent the last 11 years participating in / leading several client facing projects for IBM.
