Lead a Business Authority network made up of 150+ company Directors or delegated decision makers to drive compliance and record maturity across the organization-I chair a community of practice that brings leaders together to hear and share ideas around records, privacy and other high level topics-I work directly with Business Development and various departments to transfer records during acquisitions and divestitures. To date, I have been a part of $31 billion worth of transactions-Accountable for managing an international records team across North America. This includes managing physical inventory, working with departments to reduce transitory materials (physical and electronic), monitoring the training and compliance of email management, and being involved in the transfer of information during acquisitions and divestitures-Responsible for implementing records management, corporate strategy, processes, and procedures that comply with regulatory and governance regulations while living our corporate values-Manage a legal hold matrix to assist the legal department and HR with litigation holds, discovery, investigations and any other requests. Work with outside counsel as needed to pull and transfer data in support of our matters-I am involved in the mentorship program as a mentee as well as a mentor for 1-3 people each year-Implemented new procedures for offsite storage to meet the demands of audits, litigation and our customer expectations-Successfully negotiated new master service agreements (MSA’s) with various vendors. With one agreement, I was able to reduce our fixed cost by 51.8% over a 3-year period-Worked with the Pipeline Asset Validation group to reduce electronic file sizes up to 70% which helped reduce storage costs and allows field offices with slower bandwidth to quickly retrieve records-Managed training and touch points for an Email Management project with over employees and contractors.
