About Kevin Denton

Having spent nearly 30 years in the mortgage industry, I have a broad understanding of the mortgage process as a whole. Since the majority of that time was spent as a Loan Originator, I also have a strong focus on providing excellent Customer Service, both internally and externally. I understand that no one role in the process is any more or less important than any other. No matter our role, we all get to help our customers with what, for most of them, will be the largest financial transaction they will be part of. However, I understand for them, this is not a transaction, but a life changing event.purchasing a HOME.

   As Director of Mortgage Loan Operations, it is my responsibility to manage the Operations side of our Mortgage Team with direct management of our Loan Processing, Underwriting, Closing, and Post-Closing teams. In this role, I am responsible for ensuring that our internal and external customers receive excellent customer service and that their expectations are met or exceeded. It is my responsibility to ensure that all mortgage loans that we close are compliant and meet all bank and investor guidelines. While in this role, I have been responsible for obtaining the bank\'s FHA approval, as well as our annual recertification. In addition to our FHA approval, it is my responsibility to maintain approvals with our investors by completing our annual renewals with each of them. I was also tasked with a project to integrate the bank\'s system of record with our Loan Origination System, of which I am responsible for maintaining, and was primarily responsible for the set up and implementation of this system.
