First-generation immigrant from the Philippines who has pursued a lifelong commitment to knowledge and wisdom. Attended Dominican University in Blauvelt, NY outside of New York City with an honor\'s scholarship studying Biology before getting accepted to Columbia University for Biotechnology. After a year at CU, applied and got accepted to Harvard University for Bioengineering & Nanotechology in Cambridge, the Mecca for biotechnology. Experience has consisted of developing novel organisms for cancer research (published in \"Science Direct\" and \"Biomedical Advances\"), computational research at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, scientific writing at L\'Oreal, cancer clinical research coordination at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, and assisting in conducting research for the first COVID-19 vaccines for Pfizer. Worked as a Research Associate position on the Analytical Development team at Tessera Therapeutics which focuses on an innovative genomic engineering technology called Gene Writing which writes therapeutic messages into the genome thus treating diseases at the source.More recently, joined Moderna as a Quality Control Chemistry Associate to support their mRNA therapeutics as well as a Chief Scientific Officer for AI Venture Holdings analyzing intellectual property and developing their AI models.
