About Kevin Crothers
My Dad, Larry Crothers, was a mainframe computer programmer and comptroller - 19••••77. I spent many hours in his lap - keyboard, dip switches, monitor in front of me. There were huge computers and printers all around him - all in a very secure, well-cooled data center, and they were always very clean and in the best condition. Their data center and IBM mainframe were connected by modems to 14 remote locations, around the SE USA. He and his staff respected all that equipment and connectivity and took great pride in their work. Watching my Dad inspired me to pursue work with what turned into Internet communications and technologies! Today, I have over thirty years broad-based Information Systems/Technology experience with expertise in many communications and ERP systems, and have a strong history of success for developing/leading technical conversions associated with corporate acquisitions and/or mergers. I have great passion for building and optimizing electronic communications infrastructures, and am skilled at fostering open communications and building cost-efficient, strong team environments, which has allowed me to optimize inter department work, especially with technical conversions which is always well accepted by senior management and board of directors. I aim to continue leading Information Services/Systems in the technology services industry, and enjoy leading technical conversions and implementations associated with corporate acquisitions and/or mergers. Specialties: I worked for LDDS/WorldCom - led by Bernie Ebbers, and successfully developing/working/leading the technical conversions for his acquisitions and mergers from 1994 to 2002 allowed me to gain invaluable corporate conversion experience, which I enjoyed using for McKESSON\'s acquisition of MSD and First Choice Medical Supply.
