About Kevin Crary
Hydraulic Controls, Inc.(HCI) is the Pacific West’s premier distributor of hydraulic components and systems, servicing a wide variety of mobile and industrial markets, from agricultural to Vegas-style entertainment, with world-renowned lines such as Bosch Rexroth, Sun Hydraulics, HydraForce and Gates. Founded over forty years ago by Mr. Richard Cotter, HCI now boasts about our successful transition from founder to a 100% employee-owned ESOP company.I am currently the Operations and Marketing Manager for HCI, responsible for identifying and developing resources to improve efficiency and output, while promoting a very stable and known brand to the new faces in our industry. A shortlist of past activities at HCI include producing HCI\'s first promotional video, being a transition team member for two recent acquisitions, rolling out a new website, revitalizing the Fresno branch after the bankruptcy of HCI’s then largest customer, developing new business at two major OEMs for our San Diego facility, and helping to establish our Denver facility as their first salesperson. During a hiatus from HCI, I earned my master’s degree and served as the Vice President of Curtis Fluid Controls.After hours, you will find me spending time with family from coaching and refereeing to cheering for our swimmers. Personally, I have completed a half-marathon, a metric century (cycling), and trekked Philmont for ten days with the Boy Scouts.
