   Middlebury Area Land Trust (MALT) is a non-profit land trust that conserves and stewards land, builds and maintains trails, including the 19 mi Trail Around Middlebury, and runs popular environmental education and outreach programs for all ages. Since 1987, MALT has worked in Addison County with communities and partners to ensure the well-being and long-term viability of the area’s natural and human communities. We are grounded in our conservation roots – connecting physically with our lands and trails, hands dirty and boots muddy.
