About Kevin Young

I am a Criminal Justice major at High Point University, with minors in Legal Studies and Business Administration. Growing up playing basketball with my dad as my coach, I spent nearly ten years learning valuable leadership skills. His mentorship taught me how to inspire and motivate a team, helping me develop the ability to foster collaboration, drive performance, and support team members to achieve common goals—skills I can now apply in a professional work setting. Now, being a Siegfried Leadership Fellow, I strive to continue to grow my knowledge of leadership and use apply these valuable skills in my future. As a Presidential Scholar and Dean\'s List honoree, I have a strong academic foundation in criminal law and criminology. With a strong work ethic, leadership abilities, and effective time management, I am passionate about advancing in the field of criminal justice and pursuing meaningful opportunities in the future.

1. Golf Course Attendant

   Black Oak Golf Club

   Mar 2022 — Present · Chester, NJ, US

   Assist 450+ members with registration, check-in and payment for rounds of golf - Greet incoming members, answer questions, provide information on course fees and availability - Prepare and maintain 65+ golf carts while restocking scorecards, pencils, tees, divot tools and other supplies needed for play
