I\'ve been a Product designer since 2008. I\'ve experienced success as a solo practitioner, within teams, as a team leader, and as a hired consultant. My goal as a Product Designer within any organization is to elevate the design craft by bridging the disciplines of user experience, software engineering, and business strategy.During the past 6+ years at HotSchedules/Fourth, I- Was a founding senior member of the Product Design team. I helped elevate the team\'s reputation through strong work, cross-functional collaboration, and stakeholder management. Because of this effort, the UX/UI org was promoted from a Product subsidiary to a peer with Product and Engineering within the R&D organization- Was a driving force as a designer, mentor, and coach in successfully designing a 5-application software suite to power restaurant operations within an 18-month period- Lead the effort to improve, evangelize, and implement our Design System- Created the new design direction for our most recent product acquisition.    Led Product Design across all platforms, setting vision and execution for new and existing features. • Spearheaded design of the Premium feature suite (Newsfeed, Rewards Store, Rewards Management, Pay Records, and a full-featured Chat app for Crew), driving adoption growth of 1,200 active locations (+71% YTD). • Instituted and documented a Design System built on the Vuetify framework. • Built and scaled the design function by hiring and managing a Senior Designer within my first six months. • Drove design strategy for CoachQ, our AI assistant, implementing changes that increased daily usage by 37% overnight.
