May 2015 - Excited to have joined the dynamic team in Gensler\'s Washington, DC, office, focusing on Aviation + Transportation and Community projects. Looking forward to new challenges and learning new ways of bettering the communities we work in and helping our clients achieve their long term goals. I have over twenty years of professional experience as an architectural designer, planner, and program manager. In May 2014, I completed a two-year Master of Architecture on my path to becoming a licensed Architect by next year.At the Illinois Institute of Technology College of Architecture, I studied with designers from many countries and took opportunities to travel abroad on breaks.Before going to graduate school, I was part of an international airport design and planning group, where my work included leading a diverse team of engineering and architecture firms planning and designing a dozen buildings for a new greenfield airport in Nigeria.As I move forward in architecture, I am going to expand on experiences like that and my exchanges and travels with friends around the world to take on more large scale and international projects.Specialties: LEED AP for Building Design + Construction, Aviation Master Planning, Airport Terminal Area Planning, Building Space Programming, International Building Code review and permitting
