ABOUT KEVIN THOMPSON

A Senior Executive who has actively managed his career with Royal Mail, Rolls Royce and BAE Systems, successfully completing a series of Manufacturing and Leadership roles. A proven track record of delivery on Major Manufacturing Operations within aircraft assembly, supply chain, process improvement and change programmes. Most recently developing and deploying the processing change strategy and transformational journey across Royal Mail’s processing plants achieving a step change in front line engagement, processing efficiency and customer performance through embedding standard ways of working, structural organisational change and progression of sustaining lean leadership. Previous accountabilities include the delivery of Turbine Components as the Senior Vice President within the Rolls Royce supply chain. Accountabilities have also included Aerostructures and Final assembly of the BAE Systems Hawk Lead In Fighter where he was a member of the Site Management Leadership team, reporting to, and deputising for the Site and Services Director. A leader who has developed a strong understanding of the challenging business environment, and who has the ability to communicate at all levels and across all functions. A Leader who is results driven and has achieved significant programme and financial milestones through the active management of influencing and motivating large teams.
