About Kevin Struble

I have over 29 years of experience working in the nuclear industry and completed over 60 internal and external audits. Currently, I work as an BWXT Supplier Oversight Lead Auditor where I am responsible to audit of vendors processing BWXT components, for which I audit BWXT vendor\'s facilities to ensure compliance to FARS, ISO-9001, and other contract requirements. I also conduct internal audits to company operating procedures and ISO-9001 requirements. Previously, I worked on the shop floor where I was a machinist. My machinist’s experience included working with lathes, grinders, milling machine, measuring equipment, and blueprint reading. Competencies: Maintain CPSM Certification, maintain competence of FAR requirements, produce write-ups to justify source selection and pricing justification to satisfy FAR requirements, operate SAP software proficiency, negotiate final Terms and Conditions, and ability to develop and enhance current processes and procedures. Additionally, I am certified NQA-1 lead auditor and conduct yearly NQA-1 audits of NQA suppliers. Certified ISO-90••••15 lead auditor and AS9100 lead auditor. Goals:To provide high quality customer service to internal customers within my company and to obtain the best available equipment to satisfy my company\'s needs all while obtaining the best pricing possible.
