For over 20 years, I’ve been a lawyer handling complex civil cases from commercial disputes to enforcement actions to constitutional challenges. Today I practice at Bell Giftos St. John LLP, a law firm in Madison, WI that specializes in litigation and problem solving. Before I joined Bell Giftos St. John, I served as Wisconsin’s Deputy Attorney General – the #2 official in the state justice department. In addition to my legal duties, I oversaw a $125 million budget and served as the executive manager of over 100 lawyers and 650 employees. That experience, combined with my prior work history at one of the nation’s largest law firm, has given me unique insight into the challenges faced by local, state, and federal regulators and the people they regulate.
