About Kevin Smith
I joined Darden Restaurants in May 2023 to learn more about the operations in a full service restaurant. Prior to Darden, I was a District Manager for Pizza Huts in the Four Corners market. I truly enjoyed visiting restaurants throughout the state and helping all employees grow their abilities to help our customers. I had good fortune to find a great company with terrific employees. With in-store visits, I help employees understand and uphold our company standards from product quality, speed of service and customer service. By analyzing sales data and metrics, I help the stores pinpoint opportunities and developing plans to improve, such as changing closing times to accommodate late night customers; analyzing phone data to either add or eliminate lines, fix phone lines and systems, and ensure phones are being answered in a timely and professional manner; painting stores; fixing equipment and store layouts to improve workflow; and redrawing delivery maps to shorten delivery times.Working for different Pizza Hut franchisees has provided me with both professional and personal growth. As our operations have improved, I\'ve had more time to spend with my family and visiting many places together throughout the state.
