About Kevin Rietema
I’m an experienced finance and accounting professional with over 20 years of experience and I’m doing the work I love every day. I’m interested in understanding business problems and analyzing them and contextualizing them in a way that drives insights and effective decisions. Currently I’m the Director of Finance and Administration for ACAMS. I strive to understand and articulate financial and operational goals and then translate those into actionable plans that are then constantly reviewed and evaluated. Previously I was Director of Finance supporting Chamberlain University, a nursing school offering BSN to doctorate level degrees. In that role I directly supported the institution management team on projects ranging from monthly and annual planning to analysis of pricing recommendations for all our programs to detail cost analysis. I have experience managing a team of 25+ professionals and my teams have consistently scored highly for engagement, while maintaining a metric driven focus on execution and effectiveness. I value the team dynamic and think effective collaboration and communication have been huge drivers of my success.
