About Kevin Richter

My job is to efficiently manage large capital projects throughout the Ardent Mills network. Project scopes will range between increasing/adding capacities, upgrading infrastructure, enhancing safety throughout our plants, and working on food safety efforts towards our customers. Ardent Mills formed as a joint venture between Cargill (Horizon Milling), Conagra Mills, and CHS in 2014.

   Manager of capital projects throughout the Ardent Mills Network. My specific focus is mechanical design, project management, and food safety initiatives. As the projects may change from site to site, the job required is very similar. We need to engage local teams to be the owners of these projects, develop scope/goals of the projects, evaluate on competent contractors, and execute on the projects in a timely fashion. Scope of projects will focus from mill reflow, structural designs, bin designs, regulation and compliance, and food safety applications in the mills. Ardent Mills also allows me to work with Partners in Food Solutions (PFS) which allows us to work on volunteer work with several small African milling companies.
