Access Health CT has the goal of enrolling Connecticut\'s uninsured and under-insured citizens in quality, affordable ACA qualified healthcare insurance.As a Training Consultant with Access Health CT, working with a team of very talented, experienced and unique training consultants, I developed ACA compliant certification training programs for client facing insurance, healthcare and social services professionals who enrolled individuals and families in our insurance programs. My primary focus has been delivering training to the healthcare broker community where we trained and certified over 800 brokers between September 2013 and January 2014. The programs deliver educational experiences that translate the Affordable Care Act into positive action soliciting and enrolling new members into Access Health sponsored insurance and healthcare programs. We have created experiences that train in the use of our nationally recognized on-line enrollment system, and develop strategies to engage and enroll our target markets. The training team also supported the enrollment effort by working directly with clients at enrollment centers.Access Health CT, the official ACA healthcare marketplace for CT, enrolled Connecticut citizens in healthcare insurance and programs during the Open Enrollment period from October 2013 to March 2014, more than doubling our goals. Of that brokers enrolled nearly 40% of the total. During this last season - November 2014 to February 2015, we enrolled another for a total of 552,603 members.Over the past year I\'ve support the AHCT Small Business healthcare marketplace, as inside sales and member services operations (March to August, 2014). I also supported the roll-out of our system on the Maryland Health Exchange as a training consultant for AHCT Exchange Solutions.I am currently leading the re-purposing our ILT curriculum for web-based eLearning using Lectora Inspire 12 and purchasing a Learning Management System.
