ABOUT KEVIN QUIGLEY

I have been involved in Youth and Community work for the past 30 Years both as a participant and product on the intrinsic value on outcomes of pathways of educational intent. I am a positive outcome of The Spirit of Enniskillen Trust Program, The Peace People and helped co-establish two groups the Spirit of Enniskillen Follow Up group and Future Voices. I have been an ambassador for N Ireland through sports and Music with my participation on The Torch of Hope Run to Warrington, London, Pittsburgh and Toronto as well as my year long participation in the Up With People Program. I have always been involved in volunteering and community development work with my work and support as a volunteer and mentor with Turning Point Lisburn and the Underground Youth Centre then as a paid practitioner to now from 2003 in Lisburn YMCA to Dungannon Youth Resource Centre June 2012 where I managed All Youth Projects/ Budgets and Evaluations as well as a very motivated and hard working Staff and voluntary team. Then Leader in Charge of Seagoe Parishes Youth Services working with and being challenged by the amazing young people of Portadown. I’m currently Senior Worker II team leader of Brownlow Area Youth Project in Craigavon with a focus of exploring the ever changing pressures and expectations on young people today helping them reach their full potential and be the best they can be.
