About Kevin Nicholas
I am the corporate Director of Invasive Services for Miami Cardiac and Vascular Institute, a cardiovascular Center of Excellence for Baptist Health South Florida. In this role I oversee all invasive cardiac and vascular service lines for BHSF\'s 11 hospitals and numerous outpatient and ambulatory settings. A board certified cardiac and vascular registered nurse, I have been practicing for over 17 years, dedicating my service to cardiac and vascular disease in the fields of critical care and specialty procedures encompassing endovascular and minimally invasive therapies. I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Kent State University and a Master of Science in nursing with a focus on healthcare leadership and administration from Capella University. I have been involved in numerous system-wide initiatives to enhance CV healthcare delivery, working to upgrade and expand cardiac and vascular clinical service lines throughout the enterprise, including expansion of invasive cardiovascular services to the ambulatory surgery environment.
