Kevin Murray is a partner working on matters relating to hazardous substances, contaminated property, and developmental wetlands. As an example he was the chief strategist behind the 446 Acre Midvale Slag Site. From 1871 to 1958, five smelters processed lead and copper ore at the site. Site operations resulted in toxic levels of heavy metals in area soils and groundwater. Progress at the Midvale Slag site was halted with the stakeholders at loggerheads with the EPA. Kevin was able to structure a plan with critical agency and private stakeholders, and move the site forward. The Site had a negative appraised value and is now reportedly worth over His experience includes all facets of remediation, compliance, permitting, mergers and acquisitions, land development, and property reuse. He is known for innovative and unique resolutions to complex contamination issues, especially involving multi- jurisdictional and multi –agency matters, in the real estate, mining, energy, petroleum, and the manufacturing industry. He has successfully represented public and private clients to transform thousands of acres of brownfields property. He has board experience as the Chair of the Lakeview HCA Hospital Board, Chair of the Utah Solid and Hazardous Waste Control Board, and Chair of the Pioneer Theater company Board.
