Working on the National Careers Service contract, this role is extremely varied and involves working with a range of local organisations including colleges, probation services, training providers and job centres. Duties include; • Informing and advising adults on all matters relating to learning and work including employment, education and training opportunities • Providing guidance on the completion of CVs, covering letters, application forms and UCAS applications • Delivering lectures and tutorials to undergraduates and adult learners at local colleges • Designing and providing group sessions on a variety of careers advice topics • Developing and updating information hand-outs on relevant topics • National Careers Service online skills health check tools • Organising careers events and networking with local organisations
