About Kevin Leach

I recently graduated with my MS in Technology Commercialization and Entrepreneurship (ESTEEM, from the University of Notre Dame. Before attending Notre Dame I completed a BSE in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Michigan in December 2011 where I was also a member of the football team for four years. Before college I attended Catholic Central High School in downtown Grand Rapids, MI where I was born and raised. I am currently working as a Technical Account Manager for Microsoft in my home town of Grand Rapids. I love the challenge of figuring out what our customers want and developing a solution with a strong business case for both their needs and ourselves.At the core of my values are my faith and my passions. These are fueled by a sense of adventure, innovation, and competition. I believe in living with integrity, caring for family, having a resilient work ethic, and always treating others with respect. My passions include product design, business, community service, football, and fishing. While usually laid back, I have an extremely competitive side and seek out challenges with confidence rather than avoiding them. I am a respectful, hardworking leader whose attitude on life can be summed up by a favorite quote from Thomas Edison, “genius is 1 percent inspiration and 99 percent perspiration.” Finally, when it is time to unwind after a chaotic week, you will more often than not find me with a fly rod in hand probing a favorite river or stream in chase of a myriad of fresh water game fish.
