ABOUT KEVIN KURTZ
Kevin Kurtz is an award-winning author of multiple nonfiction children\'s books about science and nature. He holds degrees in English literature and elementary education and has worked as an educator, program developer, and curriculum writer for organizations such as the South Carolina Aquarium, the R/V JOIDES Resolution, and the Science Factory Children\'s Museum in Oregon. His first children\'s book was published in 2007. He regularly provides author visits to schools to talk about the subjects of his books and inspire students to read, write, and explore the natural world.
