I\'m an experienced automation engineer and project manager with over 12 years of industry experience. I have a passion for innovation, learning new skills, critical thinking and process optimization. I use my strong technical expertise in molecular biology and liquid handling automation to translate manual assays (immunoassays, vaccines, NGS) into automated solutions and integrated platforms. Most of my years have been working under intense, tight deadlines so my ability to visualize and execute on the transition of these assays to automated platforms are done with a sense of urgency.With many years working in an FDA-regulated environment, I also apply standards of operation for my automation development that adheres to GXP and regulatory compliance.I am also available for consultant/contractor roles. Sometimes there isn\'t enough demand to warrant investment in a permanent automation engineer/team and a company only has the sample needs to automate one or two projects. I can come in to develop these independent projects with solutions ranging from simple scripting to full-on assay dev to qualification/validation processes. I can also provide infrastructure (SOPs, automation guidance for best practices) for newer companies with less experience in automation.
