ABOUT KEVIN KADEN

I am a Partner in BDO USA’s Transaction Services team in New York. I work with a group of financial professionals dedicated to providing all aspects of M&A and due diligence services. I have significant experience in managing client engagement teams as well as identifying and resolving critical deal issues. My clients, both domestic and global, include private equity firms, hedge funds, lenders and corporate or strategic buyers. I have advised financial and strategic clients in both buy-side and sell-side situations and have assisted lenders with both transaction and underwriting support. With over 25 years of financial leadership experience, I have provided advice and guidance for complex transactions involving companies with revenues ranging from start-up to $6 billion. I have experience working with a wide variety of transactions including: stand-alone platforms; add-on platforms; auctions (including bankruptcy auctions); mergers; and carve-outs of business segments, product lines and facilities. I have worked with businesses in various industries, such as, manufacturing, distribution, retail, consumer products, transportation, healthcare, business services and technology. While working with these businesses, I have provided guidance and feedback related to quality of earnings and assets, profitability, cash flow, cost structure, working capital, insolvency, business turnaround and business restructuring.I am a CPA and CIRA and a leader in BDO USA’s Private Equity Industry group focused on relationships in Private Equity and the great diversity of services provided. I also work closely with my BDO International colleagues on all aspects of cross-border transactions. I frequently speak to law firms, credit professionals, networking groups and the Association for Corporate Growth with respect to transaction services and insolvency issues.
