I love tech and getting value out of technology, I like to consider myself a geek and I’m keen to spread the word that agile values and principles are the best way to deliver value and be happy.My top priority in life is quality time with my wonderful family and my friends.I love to learn and to share what I learn with like minded peopleI\'m a team player and a software engineer with experience in many areas including defence, pharmaceutical, consultancy, finance and retail. I use many practices, development tools/languages and platforms to help me to deliver value. I embrace agile values and principles and encourage everyone to learn about them. I work with a great team of like minded professionals and together we have built a solid and valuable product for our company. I regard myself as a full stack developer clear on the people, technical and strategic skills I need to cultivate to be a successful member of a great team.In my spare time I enjoy building extension boards for my raspberry pi, recently designed a custom circuit and had a PCB manufactured allowing me to trigger solenoids from the Pi using an iOS developed app. Spending some time refurbishing my old Amiga A1200 and refactoring my 68k demo apps. I\'m also tinkering with Javascript/nodejs and various UI toolsets.In the last year I have touched or actively use pairing,mobbing, coding, team leadership, refactoring, TDD, ATD, continuous improvement and strategic decision making. Agile and Lean thinking, Theory of constraints. Delphi Object Pascal, C, C++, Linux Bash, Design Patterns, Agile techniques, XP/Scrum, Certified Scrummaster. Docker, Kafka,Rabbit MQ, elastic search, kibana and nosql databases, mongo/redis. I\'m continually learning and enjoy helping others to learn.
