ABOUT KEVIN JENNEY

As of May 2025, I have 30 year\'s experience as a physical therapist! I worked most of that at the Erie County Medical Center, the Level I Trauma Center for Buffalo, New York, first as a Staff Physical Therapist, then as a Senior Physical Therapist, then as the Supervisor of Rehabilitation Medicine for the Acute Care Service. In that capacity I grew the service area from 15 FTE to over 30 FTE over the course of 8 years and had the responsibility of supervising and mentoring up to 30 physical and occupational therapists and assistants. I represented the Rehabilitation Medicine Department on the Joint Commission Provision of Care Committee and the Ergonomics Committee, and coordinate our ECMC Rehab Symposium. I retired from NYS public service in March 2024. I have clinical experience in patient care in a variety of inpatient populations, with most of my expertise in burn and trauma care. I also have extensive knowledge of neurologic diagnoses, with superior outcomes for patients following spinal cord injury, head injury, stroke, and amputation.I have 20+ years of teaching experience at several of our local colleges and enjoy helping students to reach their fullest potential. I am a Credentialed Clinical Instructor of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), and earned my Neurologic Physical Therapy Specialist Certification from the APTA in 2017.I have recently joined Aya Healthcare and AMN Healthcare to take contracts as a travelling physical therapist and look forward to seeing the country and continuing to help my patients improve! So far I\'ve worked in Charleston, West Virginia, Cottonwood, Arizona and Norfolk, Virginia.
