Kevin joined KPFF in 2016 and has since provided structural engineering direction as a project manager for both public and private clients. He has led the design of numerous mass timber projects, including the Redmond Public Library and PPS\'s Hayu Alqi UyXat Building. He enjoys retrofit projects that restore old buildings to their former glory, such as Grant High School, Benson Polytechnic, the Portland Art Museum Rothko Pavilion, and University and Villard Halls at the University of Oregon. His favorite high-rise in Portland is 5MLK, located at the Burnside Bridgehead.

ABOUT KEVIN J. NADOLNY
By combining his American structural design education with his Japanese design experience, Mr. Nadolny has a unique capacity to utilize the best design practices of Japan and America. Mr. Nadolny worked with Leslie E. Robertson Associates (LERA) in New York City for three years and then joined Nikken Sekkei in 2009. At both firms, Mr. Nadolny has designed high-rise towers, museums, chapels, and unique façade structures in locations around the world.By working closely with the owner, architects, design partners, and builders, Mr. Nadolny strives to design cost-effective structural solutions that balance architectural form and function with constructability and schedule.Mr. Nadolny’s guiding philosophy is to first understand the client and architectural goals; and then respond to those goals with elegant design solutions that future generations will want to preserve and cherish as historical landmarks.
