Business and Real Estate Litigation Cases Include:• Represent dominant shareholder in a family-owned manufacturing business with revenues in excess of $10 million against a lawsuit brought by another shareholder alleging fraud. Judge granted our demurrer and dismissed the lawsuit with prejudice. Affirmed on appeal.• Represented owner of a house located on a hill that had a retaining wall that was built by the City of Los Angeles. Successfully sued the City under a theory of inverse condemnation for damages resulting from negligence in maintaining the retaining wall. Probate Litigation Cases Include:• In connection with the Estate of Michael Jackson, sued executor of the estate for failing to recognize a claim against the estate filed by a client. • Represented heirs of the first wife who were deprived of their interest in real property owned by a trust when that property was transferred out of the trust and given to the second wife.
