Currently serves as a Lieutenant Colonel with 353 CACOM- Deployed as a Civil Affairs Officer with Host Nation Affairs, Area Support Group Kuwait in JAN 2017 supporting the strategic Defense Cooperation agreement between the US and Kuwait - Previous Command assignments include Alpha Company 489th Rear Detachment May 2023-May 2024 Delta Company, 489th Civil Affairs Battalion JUN 2014 to NOV 2017; Headquarters/Headquarters Company, 489th Civil Affairs Battalion DEC 2009- MAY 2011 responsible for 32 and 80 Soldiers respectively and a property book in excess of 3 million dollars for each command- Served as 489th Civil Affairs Battalion Senior Intelligence Officer from 20••••10 supervising a staff of three to five enlisted analysts keeping the Commander up to date on the current threat situation and giving him potential enemy courses of action- Deployed to Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) in DEC 2008 - JAN 2010 as the 489th CA Battalion Senior Intelligence Officer and Assistant Operations Officer providing the Commander a overall threat common operating picture for the southern provinces of Iraq; Served as the Acting Battalion Executive Officer for seven weeks; Served as Acting Company Commander for one month - Deployed to Operation Enduring Freedom as the lead Civil Affairs Officer at the provincial level in Ghazni, Afghanistan 20••••13 responsible for a Civil Affairs Team of four plus a civil military operations center of four Soldiers tasked with supporting and increasing governance at the provincial level in Ghazni- Completed resident Army courses to include Military Intelligence Office Basic Course at Fort Huachuca, AZ in 2008; Logistics Captains Career Course (on Commandant\'s List) at For Bragg in 2012, NC; Civil Affairs Qualification Course at Fort Bragg, NC in 2012.
