I’m in the business of connecting people with ideas, solving problems, and helping make processes easier.I used to be a schoolteacher. I loved breaking up the daily monotony by helping students engage in the process of critical thinking, asking the right questions, forming their own opinions, and respectfully challenging others. Every person is unique and must be approached in a way that meets their specific needs - there’s no “one-size-fits-all” model that works in education, business, or life.Packaging is exciting. Having worked in the industry for nearly 7 years I’m amazed at how much I’ve learned and how much more remains to be learned. I apply the same approach from the classroom to my interactions with people in the packaging industry and in life – actively listen to others, ask questions, be authentic. We as humans are complicated. Many of us have grown weary of connecting with people whom we are not familiar. To overcome this it’s important to remain open-minded. Be nice to everyone because we don’t know the struggles others are facing.Normalcy is obsolete. People and circumstances are always evolving so we must be willing to embrace and adapt to change. When I’m not at work I enjoy D.I.Y. projects around the house and woodworking. Most of what I know how to do was learned from my dad – I’m fortunate to have him as a teacher & mentor. A neighbor introduced me to trail running and I find the trails to be the perfect combination of adrenaline and relaxation.
