Experienced Project Manager with +20 years’ experience working on and leading complex multi-disciplinary railway engineering projects. I currently lead the delivery of the East Coast Digital Programme’s (ECDP) Welwyn to Hitchin Project, which is pioneering European Train Control System (ETCS) Level 2 technology in the UK and a future ‘no signals’ railway signalling environment. As a Senior Project Manager at Siemens Mobility Ltd, I have held senior leadership roles in two of the UK Rail industry’s most high-profile, complex programmes, King’s Cross Re-Modelling and the East Coast Digital Programme (ECDP). In leading my projects, I manage and control a wide array of multi-disciplinary project delivery resources (Engineers, Planners, Designers, Health & Safety, Construction and Test teams) ensuring efficient resource allocation, and driving a culture of continuous improvement. As a cornerstone of my accountabilities as a senior leader I provide both strategic and demonstrable safety leadership for the projects and staff under my responsibility.
