I advise, consult and conduct the year-end compliance (audits, reviews etc.) for various organizations in these spaces and manage compliance engagements to provide clients with usable recommendations and feedback along with required annual deliverables. Combining academic and industry experience, I am quick to understand the unique needs of clients and deliver practical, efficient and effective solutions. This facilitates consulting and business advisory projects where I assist clients to achieve their operational and strategic goals and manage risk and maximize efficiency. I also lead the MNP colleagues in the Edmonton Region who provide financial support to companies in varying capacities to support their finance function. This support can occur at the bookkeeping level, to monthly reporting, result analysis, budget development and reporting and more senior finance functions. From an audit perspective, following Canadian Auditing Standards, I thoroughly review financial statements and business records, conducting in-depth analyses to identify irregularities and recommend solutions. I also apply my extensive knowledge to develop, implement and improve internal controls and enhance reporting tools to help clients successfully achieve growth and operate more efficiently. I would specialize in both ASPE and IFRS standards. Before joining MNP, I worked as a Chief Financial Officer for a large division of a public company and with another major accounting firm.
