About Kevin E.

I work with a fantastic team of engineers at PassiveLogic making thermodynamic models that will be used in the next generation of building automation technology. My PhD dissertation was part of a chemical engineering research group that focused on research in process simulation, control, and optimization of thermal energy systems. My research involved designing & modeling novel hybrid concentrated solar power plants and applying systems-level control techniques to increase solar utilization in these hybrid systems. I received two bachelors in Chemical and Biological Engineering from Montana State University where I conducted corrosion experiments on alloys commonly used in silicon manufacturing.
