It is with great excitement and humility that I accept the responsibilities of Executive Director at the Wisconsin Maritime Museum. In the months and years ahead, I\'m eager to help chart a sustainable course for this esteemed cultural institution as we accomplish big projects at the Museum, preservation of the USS COBIA submarine, and renovations at the Wisconsin Maritime Heritage Center.

ABOUT KEVIN CULLEN
With two decades of experience in museum leadership, my present role as Executive Director includes working with our board of trustees and museum staff, while directing museum strategic initiatives and operations at the Wisconsin Maritime Museum.I am dedicated to the mission of the Wisconsin Maritime Museum, to help preserve the USS COBIA submarine, and renovate the Wisconsin Maritime Heritage Center into a destination for Great Lakes submerged cultural resource conservation and public education.Previous experience includes museum leadership roles at the Neville Public Museum, Discovery World and at the Milwaukee Public Museum. I\'ve been fortunate to curate dozens of exhibitions, including several award-winning museum exhibits. Volunteer board roles include being a Sanctuary Advisory Council member of the Wisconsin Shipwreck Coast National Marine Sanctuary. I\'m an active board member of the Wisconsin Underwater Archeological Association - WUAA (president 20••••21). I am also a proud member of the Manitowoc Noon Rotary Club, serving with inspirational civic leaders to make our community a better place to live, work and recreate.Recreational enjoyment is spent traveling, visiting other museums, reading, playing instruments, endurance sports, including; running, cycling, xc skiing, etc. and spending time with my family.
