Senior Advisor on Global Threat Finance Operations in the Department of Defense\'s efforts to combat global financial threats. ABOUT KEVIN COUNTIE
I’m With over 30 years of experience in national security, military operations, counterintelligence, and government affairs, I bring a unique perspective and skill set to this role, where I help shape the strategic vision and direction of the organization, as well as engage with various stakeholders, partners, and donors. Previously, I served as the deputy chief of staff and senior policy advisor for Congressman Troy E. Nehls, where I managed his legislative portfolio and congressional activities, and drafted and introduced multiple bills and budget requests on defense, foreign affairs, homeland security, and law enforcement matters. Before that, I was the director of the criminal intelligence unit at the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission, where I led a high-performing team that oversaw strategic operations and implemented anti-human trafficking, narcotics, money laundering, gangs, and terrorism programs. I have also held various leadership positions in the U.S. Army, both active and reserve, and supported top-secret security programs at the Pentagon and the Office of the Undersecretary of Defense for Intelligence. I hold a master\'s degree in military strategic studies from the U.S. Army War College and a master\'s degree in quality systems management from the National Graduate School. I have received multiple awards, badges, and certifications for my service and achievements.
