ABOUT KEVIN CONGER
I am a Founding Partner of CMG Landscape Architecture. With a focus towards creating democratic public space and improving the social and ecological wellbeing of our cities, I believe greater community awareness and engagement results in better stewardship and more sustainable communities. I lead many of CMG’s largest and most complex open space projects in the Bay Area - valued partners include the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy for ongoing stewardship of Crissy Field and other agencies and institutions dedicated to thriving cities. Through raising awareness and empowering communities with projects like Rise Up, I apply my knowledge of sea level rise adaptation planning and put it into practice within CMG’s largest, multi-year, urban waterfront projects including; the Treasure Island Master Plan & Parks and Open Space Implementation and the SF Waterfront Resilience Program. I was awarded a Seed Fund Fellowship for my commitment to creating more vibrant, democratic public spaces in San Francisco, and am a Fellow of the American Society of Landscape Architects.
