Provide technical management and leadership to all Component Standardisation staff working in the Integrated Obsolescence Team. Carryout the management of Obsolescence activities detailing input, processes and output together with cost/timescale constraints to ensure delivery of project objectives. Carryout Component engineering activities detailing input, processes and output together with cost/timescale constraints to ensure delivery of project objectives. Work with the engineering leads across program IPT to make sure that best working practices are adopted at all times. Develop key relationships with engineers to obtain ‘buy-in’ and cooperation in order to achieve objectives and fulfil responsibilities. Manage resource planning and deployment, ensuring resource capacity and capability meets the on-going needs of the business. Measure Component Standardisation processes effectiveness and take an active role improving processes. Support the business winning process by developing Component standardisation solutions, plans and estimates that meet the needs of LOBs and IPTs operating from that assigned site.
