Kevin is the EY Chicago Tax Markets leader. He has more than 30 years of experience as a tax consultant focused on tax issues facing a wide variety of companies but primarily in the service, manufacturing and retail industry. He has been a partner of the firm since and led the Memphis, Tennessee, Tax practice from – 2011 prior to moving to Chicago. Kevin serves or has served as the Coordinating Tax Partner on may of EY\'s largest audit clients and non audit advisory clients.He consults in areas of corporate tax planning, income tax return compliance services, ASC 740 (accounting for income taxes), Section 404 control advisory and attest services, state and local income tax planning, mergers and acquisitions, and inventory and accounting methods planning. Kevin has served as a member of the Ernst & Young Americas Advisory Council, an Ernst & Young governing body comprising 33 partners from the Americas Area (24 from the US) who play a key oversight role and serve in an advisory capacity to the Americas Chairman, Americas Managing Partner, and the Americas Executive Board on policies, strategies and other matters.Kevin serves on the board of several not-for-profit organizations, including one of the largest private school system in Memphis.He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Tennessee and Illinois Society of Certified Public Accountants.He is a graduate of Harding University and holds a BBA in Accounting.
