Accountable for the separation planning and plan execution of select Battelle technology spinouts, entering at deal negotiations and continuing through close, launch and startup. Efforts involve ongoing engagement with the deal team, external legal counsel, and executive leadership in the negotiation and execution of separation agreements, technology transfer agreements, service support agreements, business financial modeling and start of operations. Start-up efforts include securing and managing outside firms in planning and operationalizing business systems including finance and accounting, AP/AR, client relationship management, human capital management, payroll, benefits administration, computer systems and endpoints, and data repositories. Post launch support includes developing policies and procedures, organizational design, staffing and recruiting, and normalizing operations. Also lead program management assuring support agreements between Battelle and the startup are satisfied within expected cost, schedule, and technical delivery.
