I specialize in sustainable developments and renovations in the San Francisco Peninsula. We renovate buildings to net zero energy and carbon neutrality with a very strong emphasis on the health and wellness of the occupants at a price point that is significantly more profitable than building to meet minimum code. We have completed six net zero energy projects of this nature. These NZE, carbon-neutral buildings utilize technology to maximize what nature gives us for free, enabling us to deliver natural light, uncommon thermal comfort, exceptional indoor air quality, acoustics, and a constant connection to nature at a price point that is quantifiably more profitable for the ownership than a standard renovation to meet code. We have also completed a six-story operationally carbon-neutral university housing project in Cartago, Costa Rica, and will be breaking ground in March, 2024 on a second one in San Jose, Costa Rica.Prior to focusing on sustainable developments, I oversaw all aspects of the development process, including, obtaining entitlements, design, construction, marketing, leasing and the placement of all debt and equity for over 50 buildings totaling over 2.5MM sq. ft. of space. Product types included office, R&D, retail, data centers, medical, manufacturing and industrial.I also have extensive experience in the documentation and placement of ground leases.Green Building Advisory Committee (GBAC)- I have served as a member of the GBAC since 1/1/21. GBAC provides independent policy advice and recommendations to GSA\'s Office of Federal High-Performance Buildings to accelerate the successful transformation of the federal building portfolio to sustainable technologies and practices. I have served on multiple task groups, including Co-Chairing the Green Leasing Task Group.
