As a nuclear fuels engineer, I’m energized by the opportunity to apply analytical thinking, technical curiosity, and cross-disciplinary collaboration to one of the most exciting challenges of our time: advancing the future of nuclear energy.After gaining hands-on experience in nuclear plant operations, I’ve shifted into a role that lets me dive deeper into the engineering science behind reactor fuel performance. Whether I’m running physics simulations, optimizing core designs, coordinating with vendors, or traveling to sites and conferences, I’m constantly reminded that the energy landscape is evolving, and nuclear has a vital role to play.I’m especially excited to be part of that evolution. From decarbonization to fuel innovation and safety enhancements, I believe the next decade will redefine what’s possible in the nuclear space, and I’m here for the challenge.
