About Kevin Osullivan

I am a second-year student at Quinnipiac University School of Law, pursuing my J.D. while working full time as an Assistant Clerk at New Haven Superior Court. I attend evening classes while continuing my full-time court work, an experience that has strengthened my discipline, time management, and practical understanding of the law.In my role, I assist judges with courtroom proceedings, including trials, short calendar sessions, and jury selection. I prepare and manage exhibits, swear in witnesses, coordinate dockets, and help ensure efficient courtroom operations in both civil and criminal matters. I also assist in drafting court orders. Working inside the judicial system has given me hands-on exposure to litigation and courtroom procedure on a daily basis.During my first year of law school, I worked as a paralegal at Brodeur Law Firm in Middletown, where I supported estate planning, special education, post-conviction, and civil matters. Before law school, I worked at Alekman DiTusa in Springfield, managing a large personal injury caseload from intake through resolution. Those roles helped me build a strong foundation in legal research, drafting, case management, and client communication.I graduated cum laude from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2022 with a B.A. in Political Science and a minor in Theater. After graduation, I spent six months thru-hiking the Appalachian Trail, an experience that reinforced the qualities I bring to my work and studies: endurance, reliability, and tenacity. At Quinnipiac, I am actively involved in advocacy through the Society for Dispute Resolution, Mock Trial, and Moot Court. I am committed to building a legal career grounded in service, professionalism, and effective advocacy.
