ABOUT KEVIN FINLAY
I’m a sales professional with experience in both SME and large FMCG organisations. I have worked across the top 4 Grocers, Wholesale, Convenience and currently work within the Foodservice marketplace. Delighted to have rejoined brakes to lead their non food offer, latterly leading a top 6 food account team and now a fresh challenge. This new role sees me lead our corporate sales teams across the newly formed Sysco Speciality Group. Previous product experience includes, short life chill lines, manufactured large scale fmcg brands and traditional foodservice distribution. Colleagues know me as a tenacious and hungry commercial individual who can always be trusted to come up with the plans (and goods) to support growth. I am of course, most happy building teams through mentoring and empowering others to make the decisions to run each area to its best ability. At the heart of what I do is the knowledge that the client’s business comes first, and I never try to impose my ideas into a situation without understanding the client’s needs. Instead, I spend a lot of time understanding the business and the audience before suggesting ideas. I can (and often do) work well alone, but I’m at my best collaborating with others.
