Managing a team of 8+• Implementing automation in all possible areas with the use of AI and Chatgpt. Enabling process simplification from time to time.• Drafting Policies and playbooks to ensure smooth daily finance operations in the work units such as invoices, Credit memos, Vendor bills, Subscriptions, Vendor registration, Cash collection, Purchase orders, Bank reconciliations, Financial reporting, Intercompany transactions, Bulk processing of any of this units etc.• Performing the actual work and quality control of such work units as a part of routine activity to help clear the backlog• Performing deep dives on process gaps and fixing the gaps permanently to ensure errors are not repeated.• Accounting for the frequent mergers and acquisition and transfer of contracts taking place.• Co-ordinating with the business function to understand the financial needs and help resolve their concerns. In short partnering with business functions in day to day operations.• Expertise in O2C function, Revenue recognition and Accounts receivable including cash collection and reporting. • Ensuring Timely raising of Invoices and Collection from the customers.• Handling Month closure Activities, Proper Revenue Recognition as per US GAAP, Accounting and Reporting the Unbilled revenues and deferred revenues with detailed Ageing statements, Provisioning Bad Debts etc.• Detailed Analysis and reconciliation between agreements, invoicing and revenue recognised.
